Alumnae Admissions/Prospective
Students: The Club generates interest in Smith College in a number of ways: we
interview prospective students, answer questions, attend college fairs, raise money for book awards, and present book awards at local high schools.
Book
Club: The book club is a joint venture with the Cambridge Smith
Club and is open to all Smith alumnae (whether you're a member of a
club or not).

Thirtysomethings: A new group! Are you a member of the classes '84-'95 (or so)? Our new Thirtysomethingish
group is for alumnae who are (sob!) no longer young alums and are, whether
we like it or not, in our thirties or forties (or so). For those who may be at crossroads in
career or personal life, or just want to expand their social circle and meet
other fabulous Smith women.
Young Alumnae: We have a subgroup of young alumnae, loosely defined as up to 10 years out of Smith. Good for meeting friends, networking, apartment hunting, etc. We try to keep costs for events for this group low or free. For info, contact our Young Alum coordinators at boston_smith AT yahoo.com .
Programs and Events: The BSCC arranges a wide range of programs
and events of interest to our members. We try to plan different kinds of events in a variety of locations, and at different prices, since our geographical area is large and our membership diverse. Some of our past and ongoing events include:
- Young Alumnae Get Togethers
- Mountain Day Wine and Cheese
- Holiday Party with Smith singing group
- Annual High Tea
- Neighborhood parties: Please let us know if you are interested in hosting a party for Smithies in your neighborhood.
- Check
out BSCC Flickr for pictures of past events.
